Insulating between 225 x 75mm floor joists at 400mm centres, whats the best practice for doing this with Celotex allowing an air flow ?

Wedge the celotex flush with top surface and tape over joists, then re lay floor.
Ground floor with space under the joists? Suspended 1st floor? Etc?
This does not allow air flow to the joists only the underneath ?

Not if its well wedged and taped. You could even no more nails it..
