I've got a water softener, but the drain line is a bit of a bodge: it's using a length of garden hoze shoved down the same stand pipe that the washing machine uses. It works, but it has a tendancy to kink and just doesn't look kosher.
Is there a proper attachment to use for these drain lines, that I could attach to the stand pipe? Also, what's the proper hoze to use for these things?
