Do fire rated downlighters prevent moisture egress? I would like to add some downlighters in the bedroom ceiling but would be reluctant to do so if these would increase the possibility of moisture escaping to the loft.
I have some old R63 type downlighters in the bathroom and I'm sure these are part of the cause of loft condensation when it is really cold outside.
