extending airbrick under new floorslab

Aug 18, 2007 1 Replies

I have to extend some airbricks under a new floorslab. The difficulty is that the airbricks are quite near the floor level, and would therefore be within the 65mm screed level, so extending them with

110mm pipes would be awkward. Ground level is also quite high with 1 brick course between ground and floor levels in the existing suspended floor. I will at some point have to reduce ground level around the new floor to keep the 150mm ground/DPC regs. A route to outside without passing under the new slab is not really a possibility. Any ideas ? Cheers, Simon.
