Anyone who is willing to spend £700 on a AQ HDMI cable will pay £1000 for a hand finished DIY branded one.

And then there is up-sell. To smooth of the very last bit of any rough edges on the digital signal re-package some WD40 into 1ml bottles and sell it as a "wonder connector enhancer"

Who's going to fake the CE mark?

Farm out production to China and it automatically gets the China Export (CE) mark

Ali is too expensive, steel. Remember this is purely about profit.

How about wet string and then we can sell re-wetting solution to keep it at optimum performance (i.e. profit). Wet string should be fine for short distances.
