Without going into the pros and cons of this event, why do the organisers assume that this type of restricted food menu will be of any interest to the attending audience?

It seems to suggest that the whole thing will be the usual Eco-Rant about Killin' The Planet.

Perhaps the menu isn't as restricted as you think. Non-vegetarian options might also be available, but you have to pay extra for them.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold. I remember Talk Action saying something like:

Eff off with your tree-shagging nonsense.

And what if I want a burger made from a critically endangered tarsier that was beaten to death with a baby seal?

I can't imagine it would taste any worse than roast swan in dolphin gravy

a wordy excuse for us to make money out of you, and you to make money out of your employer. Words are cheap. Very cheap.

Great way to learn how to interfere with those genuinely making a living by producing resources available to others

bs buzzword score +1

nothing to do with the job

At this point, any words will do. They dont need to make sense.

nothing to do with the job

enjoyed wasting the day and getting paid

wow, I can pull that one too now

want to be a parasite and help them do worse in the market place?

Green career aimed at the clueless

learn the right crp to spout

learn where to bite your host

where positive equals negative

its not really going to make any difference to our environement, but if you can figure that out, get a real job

wasting a lot of time to justify your ongoing employment

added costs in labour equals a less efficient office

where & how to bite your host

etc etc

I once had pike mousse in crayfish bisque in a Michelin 4 star restaurant in Epernay.

It was vile.

I had Civet of wild boar in a no-star restaurant in Auxerre yesterday. It was delicious. I'd have had the pike, had I known what the French for pike was or if I had used Google Translate a little earlier than I did.

Since Auxerre is about the limit of my driving ability from Italy to France these days, I'm trying to find a decent hotel there. Not managed that so far, but the restaurants are brilliant.
