Draughts even though already sealed?!

Hi all,

we live in a newish house (7 years).

the house has mostly wooden window frames and doors, and we're reall getting quite bad draughts from them

problem is - they already have some insulating strip in all the frames so i'm stuck as to what i can do to improve the situation.

the strip doesn't appear to be worn, although it does look a bi cheap.

is replacing the existing strip likely to make any difference, or i there a much superior product out there that might do a better job

find where the gap is first. No strip will let a draught through unless damaged or improperly fitted. Note it is possible to fit strips in such a way that they do all of nothing, ie dont cover the gaps.

If it is only 7 years old, can't you get the builders back in??
