Double glazing

Evening,

Thought about getting double glazing fitted in place of old, bad metal framed stuff.

Looking to replace front and rear doors, 1 full bay window and three bay windows sitting on walls about 3 ft high (whatever this type are called) and 3 4ftx 4ft, 1 4ft x 2ft and a 5ft x 4ft ordinary windows. Cat A rating for frames and glass (Pilkington K3). Good locks and bolts. All sills replaced and everything taken out taken away.

Had a quote for around £11K. (This is for a property in London). 3 days to do the job.

Is this reasonable? Or way over the top.

TIA

"Jack" asked on a freezing winter's evening:

Is that 17 windows and 2 doors in total? About 3 years ago I had 12 upvc double-glazed windows and 3 doors installed for about £8K. 3 of the windows are in a ground floor bay. It included removal of the old box sashes. One of the doors is a single patio door that replaced a window after removal of the lower brickwork. The front door is a green Victorian style composite door with two stained glass panels. That was done in East Kent by a company called Britelite Windows who did a great job. It took 2 fitters 5 days to complete the job, including a cat flap in the back door.
