Desmond & I just have - and it was bloody freezing.

My heart bleeds - I have just fixed some electric gates:-)

I've shovelled the ice off the pavement and I'm toasty warm now!

I took dog for a walk and nearly broke my stupid neck walking on the ice.

Thanks for the warning; it would never have occurred to me.

I guess it will expand in the summer and sound like an old sailing ship creaking.

So wood expands as it dries :-)

I thought wood shrank in the summer and metal expanded.

I'm sitting in the warm drinking Jack Daniels and talking to you lot.

I am very warm :)

Shortly, after my nice hot bath, I will go and have a curry down the road (birthday treat).

Jack is okay with Diet Coke. I can't drink it straight. Tonight I will be ordering a kebab to be delivered. {Sunday morning toilet blockage}

Well I just went and swapped the PSU for an aerial amp for an old dear up the road. Got coffee and a nice bit of shortbread for my trouble ;-)

Many happy returns... How geriatric does that make you now?

She's lucky she got you instead of Adam ... his hands wou'd have been cold.

Owain

And that's what separates the men from the boys - the men just get on with it without expecting medals for doing what they're paid for in all weathers without bloody whinging.

Sodding amateur.

Hmm, I was just taking advantage of the warm spell and doing a few outdoor tasks (it's only -18C outside today).

cheers

Jules

AOL. Juvenile if he is still going to interviews:-)

Oh dear, the geriatric idiot is back.

What a shame I earned more doing that for 2 days, than you did in a week as a failed foreman.

Must be cold living in a caravan lately.

How do you know mine weren't? ;-)

Would you want to swap your nice crisp dry -18 for our penetrating damp and soggy -2? ;-)

Thank you - nice curry, most of a bottle of wine (SWMBO had half a glass) and brandy.

1 year nearer to nearly dead :)
