In a few weeks time it's likely that some long-term tenants will be moving out of a 2 bed flat that we rent-out and I'm tempted to take the opportunity to gut and renew the bathroom. It's a smallish room and I'm wondering whether to fit a walk-in shower rather than a bath with a shower over it.What's the opinion of the assembled experts, and those who rent? Would you rather have a good walk-in shower, or a bath?DaveWho hasn't had a bath for 20 years ;-)

Personally I prefer showers but spouse prefers baths. The trendy option would be to have your walk in shower or wet room but the practical solution is what you've already got - a bath with a shower in it, more or less pleases everyone.

Do renters want a bath or a shower?

baths with a shower hose are best for spray washing stuff.

Well of course, you don't want to immerse your body in a container that others have used and done heaven knows what it. Spa baths even worse as there will be water retained in the pumps and plumbing...

Leave it with both - no point in eliminating the section of the market that will require a bath.
