Maybe you inadvertantly enabled Paypal Quickpay on a previous purchase with another retailer. As with Amazon Prime and Ebay quick checkout (or whatever) Paypal Quickpay is another new "feature" which its somethimes necessary to conscious steps to avoid.

Are you able to name the cookie, so I can delete it?

A quick Google reveals merchants can enable this on their website and pay Paypal 2.5% of the sale price plus 30p per sale. Elsewhere its suggested its possible to turn this feature off on Paypal settings but all I can find is a box marked "passport" which is already ticked.

Its called OneTouch

To turn it off

You can easily de-activate One Touch by turning it off within your PayPal account. Just go to your PayPal profile, click the Settings icon next to ?Log out.?, then click the Security tab, and edit your ?One Touch ? for auto login at checkout? option.

The above works - at least it lets you change the setting.

I have 6, all with "Paypal" as part of the name.

Um...why not go to PayPal settings, and disable OneTouch etc.? Seems a lot easier.

Were you on a computer or the smart phone? Often the browser will auto log in if you asked it to remember your password. Seen it on Amazon on the puter as well. Brian
