Dear all,
I am shortly going to be fitting a condensing combi, and am just deciding where the best location for the flue would be (it's a fanned flue - Glow-worm 38 Cxi).
An annotated pic is here (just under 100k):
300mm from the windows) - but I am concerned firstly about the plume on colder days, and about the noise (in the summer, when the windows are open during the night, and the boiler fires up for hot water).
So, the roof is also another option - I need to go up there anyway to take down that unsightly flue from the old boiler - I feel that this would go some way to reducing the noise/nuisance of condensate plume?
Over to you guys - in an ideal situation, which would you choose?
Many thanks in advance
Alex
