Does any one know whether concrete gravel boards are supposed to be 6 ft long, ie the same as the fencing panel, or an inch shorter ??
Concrete Fencing Gravel Board query ??

I recently had a length of fence replaced with concrete posts and stout panel fences. Concrete gravel boards were used at the bottom. Both fitted into slots in the posts and both are 1830mm wide.
They can be had in various lengths. Fence panels are rarely dead on
6' long, there will be some variation in the lenght of the gravel board, too. Are these bolt on boards, or what? These are concrete slotted posts which the panels and concrete gravel boards slide into.
My panels are spot on 6ft wide, but the gravels are an inch shorter ??
Then you need to take them back.
If they are 25mm shorter, they won't really fit reliably and will fall out later
I would guess that the panels are 6ft, that is 1828mm. The boards are probably 1800mm.
This is what happens when people mix feet (305 mm) with metric feet (300 mm).
If the boards fall out of the groves then new boards are needed (if you can get 6 foot ones) or run a saw down the panels and take a bit off each side and put the posts closer together.
If they don't fall out of the groves then cement them in and forget it.
