Self install is, from the technical perspective, a very attractiveoption, since...

Ordered over the phone and the unit arrived two days later.
Very easy to install.
Basically, drill two large holes in the wall using the template and fit sleeves/grilles (Supplied).
Attach metal wall bar to wall using rawlbolts.
Hang the unit on the wall bar and plug in!
However, the unit is *heavy* and I'd suggest having a couple of helpers.
Also, the core drill needed for the holes is an obscure size that the sheds don't stock. Hire shops charge £££££s. Either buy a cheap one off ebay (You are only going to use it twice) or find a friendly plumber who will come round and drill the holes for a couple of quid.
IMHO, the performance of the digitemp unit is very impressive and far better than the portable units you buy from the DIY stores.
