cables through noggings

I have a plaster board wall, screwed to an outer wall, which have horizontal noggings (battons) in them.

Is it okay to drill 1 hole and thread 2 or more wires through them, e.g. light wire and heating programmer? Or more heavy duty items such as cooker cable and socket ring cable?

Thnx for your help.

If the battons are just there to secure the edges of the plasterboard yes. If the timber is three inches thick yes. It they have to separate or support the studs you must use a series of smaller holes.
