cable turn 90 degrees in safe zones ?

Question just raised elsewere: If you have two sockets at a diagonal from each other, then you have two intersecting safe zones at right angles to each other. Is it OK and acceptable practice to run a cable up one safe zone, turn

90 degrees into the other safe zone and from then on to the other socket, when there are no other cables involved. I cannot think why not, but just thought I'd double check. Cheers, Simon.

Yep as John says.

I pulled that stunt for my cooker feed.

With a clever run of diagonally scattered outlets, the entire wall is a safe zone! ;)

Can you make the entire wall a safe zone using less diagonally scattered sockets than you could do with a line of horizontal or vertical of sockets?

A straight row along the rooms shortest axis ought to do it ;-)
