Bluetooth earphones

To the OP....

Have you considered getting a new pair of hearing aids?

The reason I say this is because some of them now come with bluetooth on board as standard while others allow you to fit a clip on module (to replace the exisiting battery cover) to add bluetooth functionaility.

There is also the Roger system which also uses clipped on modules and you connect a transmitter to the audio source:

Loop is also another option if you have the T option on your hearing aids but bear in mind that the audio frequency bandwidth is not not as high as for bluetooth systems. (induction loops have a similar bandwidth to a telephone so up to about 5 kHz whereas Bluetooth audio codecs can achieve CD like audio quality so thats up to 22 kHz

Could you not find big headphones with foam round the periphery, so they wouldn't press on your ears or hearing aids?

I have a few sets of Bluetooth earbuds mostly cheap but if variable quality.

The MPOW Flame are the best of the (my) bunch, but they have clips which go over the ears which in combination with my glasses can cause sore spots.

I find the Audi good (but then my hearing is good).

I have some very cheap ones £8 from eBay. But I can only use one at once (fine in a quiet room) otherwise they cut out (drop the Bluetooth connection I think). They also seem rather quiet, but that maybe because I haven?t figured out how to adjust them??

A friend has some Apple AirPods he finds good and he had some BOSE before them, also good.

I?ve not tried AirPods but found the wired Apple earphones didn?t fit my ears.

If your aids have a T setting (and it?s been enabled by whoever set them up) then maybe you could by a small loop transmitter??
