It gets even better, as otherwise identical - and identically badged - products often have slight changes to the model number according to which distribution channel they are intended for. e.g. 5530 for direct sales, 5550 for discount retailers, & so on.
Yep HP iPAQ model numbers are like that hx2790 is "business" hx2795 is "retail". The machines are indenictal may even carry the same part number, which is the bit that really determines the specification the model number is a marketing tool.
