Could anyone help me with some Aquapanel. Which side do I tile on, rough or smooth?

I left the rough showing to tile on

Normally the other way round I think but I doubt if it matters for tiling
Take at look at the manufacturer's (Knauf) web site. They recommen tiling on the SMOOTH side.
