I don't have any experience of UV types, but I think them and 'entry level' don't really go together. It really depends on what size of objects you need, but if there's anything particularly large then you need a tank that's the cube of the dimensions, filled with Expensive Gloop (TM). This Expensive Gloop probably also has a limited shelf-life. So it might be OK if you're churning bits out on a regular basis, but not for printing one widget a month.
Potentially it could be useful if your volumes are such that extruded deposition is too slow and you have enough turnover of gloop to make it worthwhile.
