what abvout sheathing the black brown and grey and blue with red and yellow and blue in some way described in a label at the fuse box, or even sheathing in orange, or a different lighter blue?

blue and black = neutral black and (red or blue or yellow) = a live phase ??

how is sheathing done?

With the other 1% using twin and earth with the earth as neutral or switched live (or is it plumbers that do that?)

I wired a garage for a guy who worked (not as a sparky and is retired now) in a power station. He wanted to use the black as the neutral on the new coloured armoured cable that supplied the garage. I considered him competent and the sole purpose of me being there was so he could have a part P certificate.We actually worked together and a quick check of his work showed it to be of a better quality than most electricians work.
