The eccentric rectangular base, supplemented with shop made shims for the second pass allows me to adjust to any width dado that I want. The base is in 1/8" increments. Bugs

You can get raw stock in many profiles from any supplier (not retail frame shop) of frame moldings. Most also offer a chop service; i.e., they'll miter it to length for you.

Mone danced around the shop, until I took plywood and stiffened up the motor mount plate, then it behaved better.
