Anybody ever build their own air hose reel?

Shop Notes magazine, Issue #41. Has plans for a portable hose reel. I built it exactly to the plans, it will hold about 175 feet of air hose. I've been carting it around with my air compressor, a manifold and a couple framing nailers to build a new house, and it works great.

Apple card scam

They replied with a sob story about needing an Apple card for a friend's birthday which was imminent, and that they couldn't get to a shop because of a knee injury, and had tried on-line with no success.

Do Silent Or Nearly Silent Air Compressors Exist For the Home Shop?

Yet when you visit the automobile service station you never hear the damn things, just the whizz of the impact wrench. I'm going to ask the local mechanic on my next visit but I think I already know the answer: it's outside and it's an industrial unit.

Parcel Farce on not getting an answer at the door will then deliver to a local post office (usually the nearest corner shop with post Office counter) and put a card through the door saying where they are going to drop off the package.

CH pump efficiency & savings

BS 7671 is excluded from the bundle of online standards available via most libraries "Only available for download as part of the Wiring Regulations Subscription or as a free of charge download from the BSI Shop" Of course I can't find any such free download, it's £85 ...

yes, reasonably well versed with that, doesn't seem amazingly well thought out, if you have a card that can fit in both B & M slots, that means it has two groups of missing pins, which means that even in a machine that provides 4x PCIe lanes, the card can only use 2 of the ...

Mohagany planing

Have them plane new stock +1/8", then go to a commercial drum sanding shop and have them sand it to size. Check with a local top shop if you have trouble finding a sanding shop. Lew
