At the bicycle shop, whoever is dealing with the customer rings them out. We don't do commission, so that's not why we do it this way.

There was a shop featured in Working Lunch today that were taking 3% off at the moment as their system wouldn't allow half percentages .

You didn't need to shop around. You got the opportunity to buy what you needed at your place of work. You didn't need to shop in your own time and your employer didn't need to give you any time off. That's a pretty powerful selling point.

Likely, with the shop door open or opening frequently it will need to do more work. Might be worth having a word with the shop owner and asking if they might be prepared to turn it off when they are closed, or add a time clock - it would save them quite a lot in their bills if it ...

water fountain repair help

An auto body shop or boat shop will be able to help you, if you can bring your fountain (or just the damaged section) they will likely repair it good as new (even match the color) at very low cost.

Anyone _not_ like routers?

The simple card scrapers are handy for spot work where you need to get rid of a bit of tearout. If you do curved work, buy a gooseneck one as well. (Personally, I keep about a half-dozen different profiles around the shop.)

The Ultimate Workbench Do-it-Yourself Public Woodshop

How about a few photos the the shop? Of the store? Can I bring my own wood? Supplies? Membership: What do I get? As many hours as I can get there? I see block time offered. Is that in addition to or in lieu of membership? Can I use the shop during scheduled class times?
