This plug allows you to have two tools function simutaneously (such as a miter saw and shop Vac.). I want to be able to have my shop vac.(I havnt purchased one yet) turn on when I press the switch on my miter saw. I looked at the Craftsman website and wasnt able to find such a ...

My favorite low cost Christmas gift

I bought a shop apron on sale at Rocklers for about $15. Canvas, fits well, looks fine. Bought it because LOML would toss a perfectly good shop t-shirt with a small stain on it. Said she didn't want me going into town looking like something or another.

Radiant heater OK for shop use?

I only need to run mine for fifteen minutes to get the chill out of the shop as I don not live in a really cold cllimate. There are numerous places that leak air into the shop so there is always a suply of fresh air. Dick

ANYONE Use Kreg (or anybody elses) Pocket screw guides???

You may be able to permanently secure the jig to a workbench or work surface in your shop, a friend with a large shop and 3 workbenches did do this but I have clamped the jig to a perpendicular shelf support where it takes up no work surface at all. Haven't had to move it so far.

The new Kreg K3 Jig

It's not replacing anything similar in my shop, so I can't compare to other similar models or whatever, but it seems well thought out, the instructions are really well written, and it includes everything you could want it to come with.

Air Borne Dust Hazzard, for your consideration and comments

Min reason for it anyway is to cut down on the dust on things in the shop and it does that... really important when we move to Mexico, since the shop will be IN the house.. mac Please remove splinters before emailing

router table

Steve, J T is correct, You can build the table out of stuff around the shop. The one from the Router Workshop is simply a plywood box with one side open and a 3/4" plywood top covered with formica.

LV dust collectiong/ air criculation

Looking at the LV portable, size wise it's big enough for the shop but I would also like to us it to draw hot air down from the ceiling and exhaust it toward the floor like a heat pump.

Murphy, wall, hideaway bed plans

Unless you have a lot of time and a machine shop (got the shop, no time), I think you would have a hard time beating this one. Looks like I'm going to fallow the plans on this one. That will be a first.

Once he worked out why he could never get a picture with the right aspect ratio, he took it back to the shop and swapped it. The bods in the shop had never even noticed!
