Any tips using a 'wall chaser' please?

When I hired a wall chaser, the shop warned me about aircrete blocks. Although they're soft, the material is highly abrasive, and quickly wear down the diam-Antony

Solvent

I got something from a pound shop simply called sticky label remover, which worked very well. No idea what was in it, although it didn't smell like alcohol.
