OT: Costing

i.e. you got a slaes visit and a chat free. You got a project plan and a detailed presentation for a few grand. You got the whole installation for quarter of a million. This stopped them from getting a free plan, and giving it to someone else. At least they had paid for it.

Dust collectors

If you've read through Bill's site, it's probably got you real concerned with dust and health issues. Personally, I can't afford to create a perfect dust free shop DC.

Help! Valentine's Day plan needed

EJ At a minimum, get your wife/mother/ girl friend/significant other (as appropriate) flowers and a card. This is mandatory, no matter what they have said in the past. Failure to comply will result in severe dose of frostbite, possibly fatal.

Making Shawl Pins

I view these photos of shawl pins http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&rlz=&=&q=wood+shawl+pin&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&biw=1781&bih=868&tbm=isch and think, "why can't I make them?" Then think I would need more detailed type tools, which I don't really have, I think.

panel pins/nails

Removing Roll Pins

What ever metal those roll pins are made of, is extremely hard. I got another bit, and a minute later the tip of the bit was flat, and I had only gone in another 1/32 of an inch. Teo more bits and I was a little more than halfway thru the 1/2" thick piece of steel.

Window crosshatch pins

Some of these have little plastic clips that hold them in place, but a few have small plasic "pins" that are pushed through the edges and into the doors. I am missing quite a few of these pins and have looked everywhere for replacements but can't find them.
