OT - What should I about tow truck damage?

I suppose if Toller takes the car to a body shop for repair and they let it fall off the lift while it's there, the body shop isn't responsible either, because it never would have occurred if the car went into the ditch? How about if the body shop sprays paint onto his seats?

jointer decision

I really and truly have kept it around because it is heavy and I used to keep the "shop dog" tied up to it, that was its purpose in my shop. The current Great Dane is a puss and really does not care that much for the shop.

Fast and easy cabinet door...Opinion

for the doors but that stuff is heavy and the hinges may rip out with shop use. Not necessarily. When I retrofitted and moved back into my old shop last year, I used 3/4" MDF (the green stuff Leon mentioned) for the cabinet doors.

Stanley bits...

I had these items with me and asked the guy in the shop if he knew what they were. He had no idea. Anyway, I browed round the shop and there in a cabinet were the very same items! With a tag saying "Adjustable Bit Gauge - £9.50".

Bit off topic; DVD Recorder query

Last time I was in the shop I tried not to get personally insulting but perhaps failed. The "manager" (ha!) just refused to do anything other than repair it saying he was unable to do anything else.

Don't laugh too hard! the mower got borked first time out...

I had one on the mowing deck, one sharp and ready to put on and the other one at the shop being sharpened/waiting for me to pick it up (meaning stored at the shop, ).

Smal insects in kitchen-HELP

By the way, I do not know where you are writing from or where you shop, but some areas are just more prone to this. It doesnt mean the shop were you buy products is a bad one unless you ave consistant problems with products just from that one place.

leather sofa

We looked at leather a few months ago John Peters I think the shop was and didnt buy because it became far to complicated they offered 6 different grades of leather if it was scratch resistance it felts cheap from what I remember if it felt nice it wasnt hard wearing blew my head away.
