FS:Woodmaster Model 2640 drum sander

PEX - Using hose clamps

He comes to me and complains the body shop that did the previous repair used an aluminum bolt on the steering column and it broke. He was cursing the shop for shoddy work, etc.

electric boiler

Rads in a shop get in the way and look ugly. High level air handlers are more convenient and having them do heating and cooling is more convenient too. It may be more expensive to heat than gas, but in a shop showroom the high cost of heating may be justified.

Wood storage-hang or lay flat?

It's simply a shop made version of the "wall mounted lumber racking sold by many vendors. I didn't add any sheet goods bridging the brackets. This is in a walk-out basement shop. The brackets are spaced 12" from the ceiling and 12" below the previous bracket, down to about 4 1/2' ...

Question about paper filters, shop vacs and dust collection

I have a Ridgid "5.5" hp shop vac with a HEPA filter that does a good job keeping the dust down. Kinda noisy though, and the HEPA plugs up quickly when using the drum sander . . . I was thinking of buying the Jet 2 micron DC at Woodcraft today (10% sale).

I Love my Wife (Gloat)

Yesterday I mentioned to SWMBO that Ace Hardware was having a sale this weekend (one of her favorite places to shop, go figure?). Here in western Virginia, the Ace Hardware is Rocking R Hardware; locally, the woodworker's Mecca for shop tools and equipment.

Got the shop crane all set up and waiting, but it would have to be one at a time, as the shop itself isn't large enough for the dozen or so saws that would qualify.

Are woodcrafts wood prices fair?

The Woodcraft Ed is probably talking about (Manchester, CT), is probably the same one I shop at, which happens to be about 2 miles from the millwork shop (Harris) I usually buy my lumber at.
