Generally they are priced on the basis of how many pins/nets they are authorised for, so if you are only making small PCB's, you can get a fully-featured professional package for a low price (or even free). You can make your own single-sided PCB's if you've got basic kit.

What method do you all use to lubricate blower wheel motors?

suggestions for workshop ceiling in basement

I have a basement shop with a low ceiling, so a suspended or dropped ceiling was out of the question for me. It is about 81" from the floor to the bottom of the floor joists above.

modern TVs and composite video

The connector has sufficient pins for DVI-D to carry signals for two monitors (or one very high res one) as two completely separate channels. A is analogue and copes with VGA signals and the like. DVI-A has only analogue signals.

Sony satellite dish - any use for it?

In areas that recently got DirecTV local service needing the oval dish, the scrap metal heaps at dumps and recycling centers are full of round dishes. Barry
