Flat Top Stove

Just a general question about Flat Top stoves with hidden burners. I had my house built in 97. My wife and I were looking at Flat Top stoves to replace the gas one we currently have.

Formica Counter Top

My new (1 yr old) formica counter top is seperating along the brown seam line. The seam line is on the top of the backsplash, - where the upright or vertical backsplash meets a finish strip of formica laid across the top of the backsplash.

"beadboard" table top?

I really like the look of beadboard and was wondering if it would be possible to use this as a table top if I polyurethaned it. There is 1/2 inch plywood under whatever I decide to top this with for support. It wouldn't be used for cutting or hot materials, more just to eat at. TIA, ...

Lock-Top dampers

Tile Counter top

I was thinking this would look very nice as a counter top. I could skuff up the existing counter put the tile over and have a granite counter top at a fraction of the cost, plus I could do it myself!

Computer Table Top

It's mostly pine 2x4s, 4x4 redwood legs, and a 3/4" plwood top. I've tried hardwood top panels for a surface, but they aren't good, when I drag my monitor or tower, they gouge. What do you suggest for a top surface? I'm thinking excelon floor tiles, but I hope something better ...

Repair chrome top?

I made the mistake of leaving a spill of key lime juice on a chrome stove top. later when I cleaned it up I found that the juice had eaten through the chrome and pitted the base metal (irregular 6 in. circle).

Cutting counter top

I am reconfigurating a craft room. I have 2 preformed 8 ft counter tops that make and L shape with a 45 degree cut in the corner. I want to cut one of the 8ft from the straight edge down to 36 inches. the other one down to 6ft from the straight edge. I know I have to clamp a straight edge to cut ...

Pump top sprayer
