non-toxic waterproof ply

Need to replace plywood bird table top. I already have some ordinary plywood -- is there any varnish which will make this waterproof enough to use outside without peeling apart (as the current one has)?

Non RCD Fridge socket

I would like to install a radial socket for my fridge, that is not connected to an RCD, just a 20A MCB If I mount the socket on the surface, and run plastic conduit, I understand this is OK for the 17th and if I wish to flush the socket into the wall, I need to protect the cable - I assume this ...

cheapest non-flammable roofing

Hi, pricing up my ongoing shed project and I need some non-flammable roofing. As far as I can see this is tiles or metal sheet. Has anyone done recent research on the costs of materials? I am looking for the cheapest way to roof the shed.

Making bath non-slip

non slip wood finish ?

Also checked out non-slip decking finish from screwfix but the website says external use only so I guess its high in volatiles. Would rather have a natural finish - ie. don't want those diamond or sand-encrusted black strips !

non-maintained lamp failure

Hi, Some time ago, I took the advice of many here and installed an Eterna non-maintained 8w fluorescent lamp above my CU. It is under the stairs and there is no window, so it allows me to see to reset the RCD if it trips. When similar lighting was installed at work.
