Shop made Oak Floor Laminate

Christ is in our midst! God a question.. A couple years back someone posted some pictures about a floor covering he made using 1/4" Oak Ply Board.. Anyone have the pictures or the WebSite for it? God Bless, Mike

220 line in the shop

Hi all, My shop is located in the basement. Last year, we converted our hot water and range to natural gas, and as a result, I have these two nice junction boxes from the original 220 just waiting to be tapped with a nice big 3HP TS or something.

Grizz/Shop Fox Parrot Vise

Anybody own the Grizzly/Shop Fox Parrot Vise? It looks useful and utilitarian, but I am wondering how sturdy it is seeing that it sells for under $50. A report based on personal experience (rather than just getting pointed at some online reviews) would be much appreciated.

Not much shop time today

Three more feet of snow this morning up to this point. Maybe another foot to go. Power was off this morning and I needed some router time. Also I can't work unless the radio is on. Sigh. Oh well, we need the moisture. mahalo, jo4hn

Moved workebench into new shop!

Folks - Yesterday we moved the workbench into the new shop! It *really* took some doing... I hung a couple of lamps last night and today finally got the saw and jointer wired up with 220! I've posted a pic in ABPW.... Oh boy, oh boy, ohboy,oboyoboyoboy..... John Moorhead

Grizzly / Shop Fox lumber rack

The instructions for the rack recommend against installing the standards over drywall and instead directly to open 2x4s or concrete wall. However the rack is U shaped and the inside dimension is 1.5", so if you put it directly onto a stud it slides right over it, making it impossible to get the ...
