PEX For Shop Air Lines?

However, I also use my portable air compressor in my shop, which is in the basement. I've been reading and watching videos about using PEX as air lines in home workshops and even in some commercial settings.

shop vac question, vacuuming water.

hi, I have been thinking of getting a new wet/dry shop vac and had a question. When vacuuming water from a basement floor or something else, can you attach the drain hose and have the vac drain while you vacuum? Or will it lose all suction when the water level in the tank gets too low.

Shop Light Delayed Turn On

Got a pretty old two T12 48" tube, hang by a chain, plug-in fluorescent shop light that doesn't come on until about 60-90 seconds after powering on. When it finally does come on, it's fine. Tried a different pair of tubes, smacking the fixture, plugging it into another outlet- no joy.

Need a hobby shop 18702

Looking like a lost puppy. Wanting a hobbie. Model ship. I had a uss constitution, 10,000 parts. Fell off a shelf 40 years ago. Looking for a big ship model with a serious time taking put. Any advice? I looked and failed.

heating/air in garage/shop

I have been lookign around at used heat/air conditioners for my garage/ shop. It is not used all the time, mainly on weekends currently. It is a 30x30x10 metal building with 2x4 walls in the inside and 2x4 trusses on the ceiling.

Shop cabinets: Melamine vs MDF

I am about to build some cabinets for my shop and am leaning toward using melamine or MDF. I have little experience with either of these materials. They don't have to look like living room furniture, but I would like for my shop to reflect my workmanship.

Sloping gara, -er, SHOP floor

Since I only have one skinny bay to work with (about 11'x25'), my current plan calls for a fixed countertop along the long side wall, with hand built rolling shop cabinets below for storage and convenience.
