Completely OT. Grocery delivery services

They will drop any quantity, and may do free delivery for larger orders. Delivery prices often vary with more desirable slots being a bit more expensive. In the past we have used tesco, waitrose, and occado.

not great woodworking, but ...

I know because I found it, still hanging in the study (which used to be the shop). As I said, "next time". although talking with a friend who is a Master Machinist, he figured _he_ could free hand the needed rabbit with a trim router. And I agreed, _he_ could. Me, not so sure.

Kitchen floating floor installation

A small local dip can be packed out with one or more layers of dense card - I buy some 1 and 2mm stuff from the art shop in large sheets for this type of job - there's always a dip somewhere...

OT: Simple maths question

A shop, sure they have card readers. But do you carry one with you? If I came round your house to buy your car, would you take a credit card? Would either of us wish to pay the 3% fee charged by the bank? Maybe, although it's difficult when you're used to one measurement.

B-) Card statement isn't really enough. The TfL site does mention that without an account you can still login and see the previous 7 days but mentions of receipts are very few and far between.

Outdoor information labels - howto suggestions?

Not dealing with the "post" issue, but one reasonably easy way to make durable lables for outdoor use is just to print them on to normal paper or thin card, then laminate in laminating pouches. Depending on what size you need, you can make a dozen or more in a single A4 pouch.

Chromebooks and self hosted cloud storage

I upload edited pix to the picasa site, which was unlimited for free as long as the max dimension was 1600 pixels. Has this increased to 2048 too? I really don't like dealing with google's photo site...

Lint filter for washing machine drain

If your machine dumps into a utility sink I can see how a filter might help keep that trap clean. If it dumps into a standpipe, there is plenty of water pressure to keep *that* trap clean. Jim
