More B&Q silly prices.

My local branch of TLC *is* a 'shop' with free parking *and* you get served by a knowledgeable assistant. Ok - it doesn't open on Sunday or as late as B&Q. Big deal.

Grounding Shop Vac Hose

Please recommend a good basement dehumidifier

My only recommendation would be to shop FIRST for a quieter one. Believe me - a lousy dehumidifier can make quite a racket. You might want to poke around the Consumer Reports site and see if they've reviewed the machines. If so, you can buy access to the site for under ten ...

UK mains plug sleeved pins - pointless

This happened to someone at work who was plugging into a below-floor level socket and her ID card chain went between the two pins. Her main injury was from hitting her head on the desk above. Suddenly all our ID card "chains" wew replaced with ribbons.
