debit card limit

Is there any way to put a limit on a debit card ? That is other than the amount in the banking account. I have not thought of it to today when a friend was telling about a man making a $ 20,000 debit card purchase off a fake ebay site for an item.

How do you "tune up" a hard-to-start Craftsman 18" chainsaw

Did the shop charge you for this? Lack of "enough" oil in the gas mixture? Always better for a little more oil and foul a plug than not enough oil. If you bought it with a credit card, some cards give an additional warranty. I have a drawer in the garage for receipts and manuals.

Costco Sams rant

It's a long time since we had a Sam's Club membership, but I don't think one could get to the food court at our local one without a membership card -- but they may not all be laid out the same.

OT. Cunning plan....

And please don't play the race card it's pathetic. Indeed I have. But I find very few accountants, solicitors, bus drivers, shop assistants, mechanics etc go around nicking lead off roofs & copper cable. No pikeys round your way then?

I've bought a fake phone...

He's probably not old enough to have a credit card. I've had 1problem in 9 years on ebay. You just need to be aware and check out who/what you are buying. Just like any other shop/catalogue/website. It's not hard. Mike P

Aldi compressor ...

I'm surprised you don't also have a debit card. You get things like car VED cheaper with one too. BTW, you've just described any supermarket on a busy day. And Friday afternoon is busy at most. You should have asked the wife about the best time to shop - Monday morning is a good bet.

Car parking fines...

You have a card I presume so they can independently verify your spend. If so, simply saying you will never shop at a Waitrose until the issue has been resolved might get the desired result.

New Zealand Plants

Anyone interested in New Zealand plants, especially garden cultivars, might like to visit my website, which includes quite a few that may not yet be common in the US. Of course, the site also covers many other plants too.

Dusk till Dawn failure on outside light

This is how 10min jobs become 1hr :-) 3 year warranty is well useful, dumps any problems back on them.
