Weird,Aldi selling B&D tools now

In message , Huge wrote You have to have a Matalan card to shop. It used to cost £1 but I believe it you can now get one free - just fill in a form at customer service the first time you visit. This is no different to any other store loyalty card.

Wilkinsons madness.

I had a free parking place near the centre just for this morning - hence my visit. I actually wanted something from a fabric shop. Didn't hang around though. The only thing I really like is the chips from the City Fish Bar.

rust problem

I hadn't been out in the shop for about two weeks. When I went out and uncovered my tools (unheated, un-insulated shop) everything looked good but the bandsaw. I always cover all my tools with a cotton painters tarp.

Shop lights

It does seem to depend on the site - probably the quality/stability of the electric supply. My previous shop, a free standing shed, did have to replace tubes every year or two. My current shop is in the garage and I wired it myself.

yes, but mine are delivered free of charge. Then we are told to buy over the counter medicines, but can only buy limited quantities. So when we visit the supermarket I buy the paracetomol with the main shop and my wife buys the ibuprofen on a second....
