Adding a greenhouse to my shop

I am thinking either building from scratch or purchasing a kit greenhouse to attach to my woodworking/misc. shop. This would be a "lean-to" type that comes off the back (south facing) side of the shop.

Damage to woodshop if it freezes

What is the harm if my wood shop freezes from time to time? My wood shop is a 20x20 separate building with a concrete floor. The walls are insulated and covered. The roof is 9 feet and has a pitch of 4 because of the low snow fall in the area.

T5 vs. T8 fluorescent lights

My proposed shop is 24x24 so I would need over 1,500 watts based on that. That seems like a lot. A space heater is usually 1,500 watts. My thinking for my new shop is 4 rows of 8' T8 double bulb fixtures two per row. That is 944 watts which seems like a lot! Is that too much?

those big plastic tool cases.....

Some folks take the tools out of the shop, think "van shelves". If you bought the tool at a pawn shop or eBay, the case frequently isn't included. I've gotten brand new cordless tools, minus batteries, CHEAP at pawn shops. Since I've got plenty of batteries, I'm happy.

Valiant EcoMax hotwater going off and on frequently

The Valiant EcoMax we have in flat above our shop started doing that within about 12 months. Valliant engineer came and went and said he'd replaced the divertor valve.

Screwfix Trade Counters - how do they work?
