On my first page I have: At the very top, a widget across the screen for google/accuweather that shows the weather for the next 3 days, followed by a widget for google news that shows current headline. Tapping either of those brings up the full app.
Phone are used for texting, email, sexting, Twitter, SnapChat, Instagram, etc. There's more than just phone calls as a reason to use vibrate mode, but you already knew that. You're just being a dick.
Having a teenage daughter, pretty much all her friends are on it, and use it quite a bit - (I'm aware of only a couple of teenagers who aren't), and Facebook Messenger is one of their standard ways of communicating one to one They might use other things as well, Whatsapp, Snapchat, ...
Is it like facebook, snapchat and other webpages, that kids get tired of one and the new crop of kids goes on to another page? I thought home moaners were above that sort of thing. Is there a whole other web I don't know about?
Probably the same as the last top tip I gave. Don't drive a Fiat. My works van is in for a service so I had another works van - both Fiats. I managed 2 miles before the replacemant one conked out on me about 200m from the Fiat dealers but on the wrong side of the dual carriageway!
