Is this arrangement not allowed, as IMHO there is more risk of electrocution when some dopey tw*t tries to change the dead bulb with the switch still on than the same dopy tw*t unplugging something when it is switched on!

Fine and dandy as long as you don't get any multi-day power outages and your cell carrier has good UPS systems at the tower sites. On your home VOIP, as soon as whatever toy UPS is on your cable or fiber modem goes flat, there goes your phone service.

One that filters the commercial sites and only brings up the sites with information on the doing of something. I'm thinking someone out there with an extra large propeller on their beanie cap oughtta be able to write software to accomplish this sort of thing (1). sigh...
