OT: Barclays Bank no longer supplying free Kasperski Internet Security

And the built-in Apple stuff deals with them. Thus, so far, no need.

Another tip of the day.

Even if they have stubble, an Adam's apple, wearing bloke's clothes and call themselves "Dave", calling them "fella" is treading on thin ice, possibly leading to a one sided discussion of what "LGBTTQQIAAP" means and why they shouldn't consider reporting you for a hate crime 8=| ...

Joys of rural living.

I was intrigued to learn that Apple have a fall detector in their watches, I wonder how reliable that is. One assumes you would not have it on if doing something like breaking up concrete or doing judo! Brian

Chainsaw

Years ago my neighbour was struggling to cut up a dead apple tree with a borrowed chain saw. One look at it and I saw the chain was on backwards. Apparently the guy he borrowed it from said "best of luck, I cant cut anything with it" Mike

Rambling thought

I think current USIMs for 3G/4G are different from original SIMs, also voltages supported are now lower (so older phones can fry newer cards) Except some networks in USA don't use SIMs at all, and Apple want to get rid of actual SIMs altogether and use virtual SIMs.

Pioneertown

You remind me of a couple of things - seeing the Roy Rogers museum when it was in Apple Valley and a Joshua tree in Arizona. Looking at this housing site I searched for "water" and saw no mention. This would probably be big problem living in these areas.

Happy Father's Day -- Chicago style

My neighbor makes that and apple cider too. Another is a beekeeper, and another makes preserves from our grapes. Lots of houses being built, but we still have small farms scattered about.

OT: For the computer gurus

Unfortunately, Apple is starting to get that way, too. I guess after years of being copied by Microsoft, they decided turn-about is fair play. They even give you a blue screen when they crash. And since Windows no longer crashes daily, it's much harder to tell the difference.
