There are some interesting garden sites listed in this month's Garden Design magazine. Technically I guess they're 'blogs' You might look at these: gardenrant.com seedhead.com (I enjoyed the Nurseries to Know section) something to do when you're not gardening - or waiting for Spring.

Organizing shop (what to do with all those little screws.....?)

This way I ended up with a box with twelve bins and a bit of rust inhibitor already applied to each bin. Also, boxes of screws slide into the bins. Jack

What the heck goes into the trash can (as opposed to recycling?)

We pay 33 dollars a month for the once-weekly trash pickup (which includes two bins of blue, two bins of green and one bin of brown). We pay 13 cents to 50 cents a kilowatt hour to pump water (depends on the monthly amounts) and we don't pay sewage since we have septic.

American toilets

I agree with you about the taps, but the point of installing dryers is purely to reduce labour costs (refilling paper towels dispensers and emptying bins). I've noticed that toilets in hospitals *always* have paper towels and pedal-operated bins.

This fall, it looks like PGW may finally shut off the gas for 40,000 non-paying customers in Philadelphia. What would they do for space heat and showers and cooking?

[SOLVED] Kenmore/Whirlpool Dishwasher Spray Arm Removal

The original packing slip indicates 22 (in small digits) 17512 (in large digits 201 (in small print. This is a Canadian model and it appears the numbering system is a little different.
