Replacing a cracked window

Is this a real glass shop; meaning, they cut and build the panes on site? Sealed with hot butyl caulk, iirc. Glass work can get one cut real fast. Always have on heavy gloves as a DIY.

Coppering

When I use to work in a plating shop, minimum order was $35. This was 20 years ago. You could also do it yourself. This site has all the stuff you need to electroplate at home. http://www.caswellplating.com

Ridgid Air Compressor Opinions?

Direct drive compressors are ok on a construction site, but in the shop with you the noise is a bad nuisance. After living with two different direct drive compressors for several years I got rid of them and bought a belt drive, oil lube compressor and my ears thank me every day.

Combination square or double square?

Bar clamps from HF

Mike.. if you shop online, go to the HF site, find the clamps and add them to your wish list.. Check your wish list once in a while and look for anything that has the price in RED, indicating that this is a sale price.. YMWV mac Please remove splinters before emailing

A 'puter in your shop?

Group I'm wondering about having a computer in my shop. I've got a older machine that is sitting around doing nothing - and its long paid for, and of no value to anyone. So I'm thinking of putting in the shop at some point - for email, surfing, etc.

Trying to tunnel a 2" PVC pipe underground - hit a road block

Let it dry out and use a shop vac to tunnel. I have put plastic conduit under a driveway in Pinellas County this way. Put in fence posts also. Use a tarp to empty shop vac on. Use short strokes with shop vac to keep from clogging.
