Water meter cost?

I pay for a survey, I pay for the meter to be installed, I pay if they come round and say they can't install it. Basically I pay pay pay no matter what.

Should I pay my rent?

I was just paying bills when I was getting ready to pay the rent. But while I am doing this, my house is filling up with natural gas. A gas pipe came apart in the basement last night, and I have called the landlord about 8 times now, but he has not returned any of my calls.

take scrap but no pay

Anyway looking around I came across this scrappy site http://www.metalmannottingham.com/ And on it it says "Due to the new Laws that came into force, we can no longer pay for any scrap metal." He collects it for free but doesn't pay anything because of the law!
