Hi all

What materials could be used safely in a coffee machine

Im not going to get too deep into it but i am modifying an espresso machine and will use a plumbers pipe insert part for this

The part will be in direct contact with the coffee and hot water

I assume copper is safe? i can get the part in polycarbonate copper or brass (possibly stainless steel)

Regards

niall

Think about it. Whatever materials are used in cookware should be OK. Stainless steel is most common but they also make copper pots and pans.
