Can exterior oil paint/stain for a house once dry be painted over with an exterior latex? My question really is are exterior oils and latexes compatible with each other irregardless of which one goes on first? Thanks, Perry

Yes, to the question title. But no, to the question. Water-based can go over oil-based, but no, it doesn't work the other way. Oil must always be the first or base layer, if it's ever used.
