I live in a 1100 square foot (plus basement) inside unit rowhouse in an urban area with a built up (flat) roof. I am thinking about purchasing a whole house fan to cool the house. What models would you recommend? Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi John,
This is the one I have and love it. It fits between rafters so its easier to install than the bigger cheaper louder ones. It also has insulated doors that open and close and seal really nice. On low the fan is about as loud as an exhaust fan over your stove on high well it's loud but it moves the air!
