Did one of you guys sneak into my shed and fix my leaf blower? After the 2011 fall season, I ran it out of gas and put it away for the year. In the fall of 2012, I mixed up some new gas, filled it up and it ran like crap. It wouldn't stay running unless I almost constantly feathered the choke and when it did stay running it ran really sluggish. I gave up trying to use it and eventually dumped out the gas, ran it dry and put it away. I intended to look at before this fall, but somehow never got around to it. I'd suspect a bad batch of gas - even though I had just mixed it - but the same gas worked fine in my string trimmer. Well, yesterday, I needed to clean out SWMBO's flower beds and blowing the leafs out is so much easier than trying to rake them. I figured if I could get any wind out of the blower, it would help, so I mixed up a little bit of fresh gas and put it in the tank. I set the choke, pressed the primer bulb a few times, and 3 pulls later it started right up. I went through 2 full tanks of gas without a single stall or any rough running. OK... 'fess up! Who fixed my leaf blower?

Wasn't it you that wrote "I think you're right. I'll sacrifice some statistical data, to help keep the subject line consistent."?

Yet you brought up Obama and taxes on the very first day this thread started and have continued to discuss issues unrelated to my leaf blower ever since without changing the subject line. If you are going to consistently hijack threads with your views on Obama and the economy, even stretching so far as to somehow think they are related a poorly running leaf blower, at least do us a favor and change the subject line so that it reflects the subject that you hijacked the thread over to.
