The 10 % or so more voltage may or may not be harmful to the capacitors. It can cause them to build up more heat than they are designed for which may add to the problem.
However it is certainly harmful to the tubes. A 10 % over voltage will have a great reduction in the life of the filaments. As many of the tubes are not made many more the new old stock prices are going way up.
Several people are reporting voltages in excess of 125 volts. Mine is often 127 as verified by a VOM that is traced to the NIST.
